This outdoor adventure park will take you sky-high

Get ready for an exhilarating adventure

If you are looking for adventure like ziplining or a ropes course, you don’t have to travel far to find it. The exciting adventures are widely popular for people of all ages, and you can seek out these thrills at Treerunner Adventure Parks.

Treerunner Adventure Parks has just opened for the season, and Operations Manager, Destiny Campbell joined “Live In The D” co-host Jason Carr to talk about what they have to offer.

Destiny said a high-ropes course is made up of many obstacles separated by platforms going from tree to tree. Built into the courses, she said you will find ziplines hidden within each element. The time you can spend on a course ranges from 15 to 30 minutes, and the courses cover a range of abilities and heights.

Every single guest that visits the park will undergo a safety orientation, where they will learn how to harness themselves, operate equipment, and maneuver. Destiny said everyone will practice on the ground before taking to the trees.

Destiny said the park will be hosting an Easter egg hunt this coming Sunday, April 10th. The hunt will be available for children from ages 1 to 10, and costs five dollars to enter. All of the proceeds from the event will go to the Ukraine Red Cross.
