When fans come into Comerica Park for a Detroit Tigers game, they will discover some brand new swag to being home as souvenirs. “The D Shop” sells all things Tigers, and Dave Wangler joined “Live In The D” co-host Jason Carr to talk about some of the new items.
Dave said the shops are now carrying a new party hat that resembles the Tigers mascot, and covers both your hands and your head. They also have jerseys with all of the players names, old and new.
They are selling 2022 Opening Day merchandise like flags, alongside their new jackets, and Dave said they are perfect for the cold and windy days.
These new souvenirs became available as soon as the gates opened, and you can buy them as long as you have a credit card. Comerica Park is a cashless venue, but Dave said they have machines on the concourse to convert cash to gift cards.
Their biggest sellers have been anything with Javier Báez’s name on it, the new jackets, and the knitted hats.
