There’s a little bit of everything when it comes to new movies out this weekend. Movie reviewer Greg Russell joined Jason Carr on “Live In The D” to share his thoughts on the films.
Fans are excited about “Downton Abby: A New Era” hitting the big screen this weekend. George Russell says the movie is fun with a few storylines to follow. Without spoiling the film, Greg says scandal awaits the family in South France. In his zoom interview with the cast of the film, Elizabeth McGovern says she feels the cast and crew are her extended family. Phyllis Logan says people still have an appetite to see this whole saga play out. Lastly, Greg says if people haven’t watched the show or the first movie, you won’t feel lost watching this one.
Next on Reel Talk, “Chip N’ Dale: Rescue Rangers”. Bring the kids along to see the new animated family friendly film on Disney+. The movie is made in the same way that “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” was done. You can see a ton of familiar animated characters in a real life setting as Chip n’ Dale must go on the case to help solve why toons keep disappearing.
Finally on Reel Talk, a new movie on Amazon Prime titled, “Emergency”. George says this movie is a roller-coaster ride. The comedy/thriller will have fans at the edge of their seats because the storyline can get deep and you will never guess how the movie will end.
