The history behind the Romeo Peach Festival is all about a celebration, and one of the highlights at the festival is the carnival, which offers fun for the whole family.
The festival includes an expansive midway with entertainment for all ages. Kids and adults can enjoy more than 20 different rides. You can experience a bit of nostalgia on the merry-go-round or get a great view of the festival from the Ferris Wheel. The more daring festival goers can try out the Ring of Fire. If you want to hop on the rides, you’ll need to purchase tickets. Most of the rides each cost three to four tickets.
“Live In The D” reporter April Morton got a sneak peek at the rides at the Romeo Peach Festival. Watch the video above to see her ride on the merry-go-round and to hear more about the carnival rides at the festival.
The Romeo Peach Festival runs Thursday, Sep. 1st through Monday, Sep. 5th.
