Uncork a bottle and help some kids dreams come true at this fun event

Sip fine wine, and try local restaurants, all while helping to make kids’ dreams come true

Imagine an evening where you can stroll under the stars, sip fine wine, and munch on flavors created by all kinds of restaurants, all while helping to make kids’ dreams come true.

That’s exactly what is happening this Friday at the Detroit Uncorked event.

Renee Pasco, the Board President of Detroit Wine Organization, and Ingrid Todt, the Executive Director of the Rainbow Connection, came in the studio to talk with host Tati Amare about the event.

Detroit Uncorked will take place at Jimmy John’s Field in Utica. It’s a strolling event filled with wine and food tastings. When you enter the event you will be given a brochure with a list of all the food and wine vendors. There will be more than 200 wines at this event, and 20 food vendors including Crispelli’s, and Eddie V. A live DJ will serenade you for the night.

The proceeds all benefit The Rainbow Connection, a Michigan-based organization that fulfills the dreams of kids with terminal illnesses. They just celebrated granting wish number 4,000.

There will also be raffles and auctions.
