Pre-historic animals, survival, adventure, and more. “La Brea” returns tonight at 9 p.m. on Local 4 for its season 2 premiere, so grab your popcorn and settle in for an exhilarating and action-packed season. Chiké Okonkwo and Jon Seda joined Jason Carr on “Live In The D” to discuss the premiere of the new season.
According to Seda, who plays character Sam Velez, the show is packed with excitement and draws in the audience.
“Well, season 2 pretty much picks up right where we left off last season. We set the bar pretty high last season and this season just takes off like a rocket… It’s like a rollercoaster ride, we’re meeting new characters down there and we’re running into more, crazy, pre-historic animals,” Seda said. “We have this time travel thing that’s going on and I was surprised with each script as I read them. So, I’m eager to see how the fans are going to react. I think they are going to be thrilled.”
Okonkwo, who plays character Ty Coleman, said the season will provide insight while keeping viewers on their toes.
“The thing I love about the show is there are as many answers as there are questions and I think the second season we just get to dig a little bit deeper into the mythology of the show; and we’re really building this great big world so it’s nice as an actor playing one of the characters on the show, to be constantly surprised, and now we look forward to you guys seeing it tonight…,” Okonkwo said.
