Toronto Distillery transformed into entertainment, cultural hub

Distillery District deemed premiere destination

It’s deemed Canada’s premiere arts, culture and entertainment destination.

“We have been here for almost 20 years as the Distillery District, it’s a cultural hub in Toronto, one of the most visited neighborhoods in the city,” Aaron Binder, chief experience officer, for Go Tours Canada.

Binder said when you visit the Distillery District, you’ll find there’s something for just about everyone.

“At night they can expect a really charming setting, during the day it’s bustling with activity,” he said. “There are like 20 coffee shops — that’s an exaggeration, there’s like eight — which is still a lot for 13 acres and there’s tons of restaurants.”

There’s also a very cool way to tour this pedestrian-only area, and April Morton gave it a try.
