They started off playing in church together for over a decade, now the group “Groove Fellowship.” performs all around metro Detroit. The group’s music is described as a fusion of Jazz, Funk, Rock, Gospel and R & B. Lead band member Dan Gamlin spoke with “Live in the D’s,” Tati Amare about the groups upcoming new album. The name of the album which comes out early 2023 is titled “Street Corner Musician”. Gamiln said, there will be 10-12 tracks, including “Paradise,” which the group performed on “Live In The D.”
Groove Fellowship has an upcoming performance at Berkley Coffee in Oak Park on November 19.
