How you can enjoy the holidays without having to cook for yourself

Here is one option for takeout on Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is about giving thanks, spending time with family, and feasting.

While turkey is the traditional mainstay, some people prefer different options, and ordering the whole spread for takeout ensures that everyone has a relaxing holiday.

Chef Michael Keys of Cattleman’s Meat discusses how they have Thanksgiving covered, and tasty ways to enjoy leftovers.

Keys described Cattleman’s as a major meat production facility with a hot food production facility. He said that they are trying to go in multiple directions with smoked meats, their turkey program, and the daily hot grill program.

Keys said that for $119.99, you can take home a holiday feast that can feed four to six people.

It comes with ready-to-eat mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, stuffing, turkey, pie, biscuits, and a macaroni salad. The food is served cold, and he says that if you pick it up the day before, it will be ready for you to reheat by following the instructions on the box.

When it comes to leftovers, Keys says the key to a great leftover sandwich is curry mayo, which he says is good on a turkey sandwich. He also recommended a brisket grilled cheese sandwich with Brie, pepper jack, and cheddar blend cheeses.

If you want to order the Thanksgiving feast, you must place your order by Friday, Nov. 18. Orders will be available for pickup on Nov. 21-23.

In addition to holiday feasts, ribs, briskets, sausages, wings, pulled pork, mac & cheese, and collard greens made with turkey for parties and tailgating are also offered.
