Group is performing in Detroit on Sep. 23rd

Music fans have a chance to get funky as they cheer on the Ohio Players when the group performs in Detroit this weekend.

Known for songs like “Love Rollercoaster” and “Fire”, the Ohio Players skyrocketed to stardom in the 70s. They’re still going strong and will be taking the stage at Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts in Detroit on Saturday, September 23rd.

“Live In The D” host Tati Amare got a chance to talk with one of the Ohio Players ahead of the concert. Watch the video above to see her interview with James “Diamond” Williams.
