Enjoy the Halloween spirits at this nightmarish bar

The nightmare has come to Bagley, and will be there until November 5th

Get ready for a frighteningly good time and a drink or two at Nightmare on Bagley. The pop-up style bar is decked out in all its “gory,” with skeletons hanging from the rafters and some creepy clowns on a whimsical Ferris wheel.

The bar is owned by the In-Laws Hospitality group, and they first decided to turn their quaint bar into the holiday extravaganza known as Blitzen on Bagley last Christmas. Next, they dressed it up in hearts for Valentine’s Day, and now it is the stuff of nightmares for Halloween.

The theming extends to the drinks as well with a Bloodrita, a fun take on a margarita with notes of pomegranate and orange, and the Peaches and Scream with whipped cream vodka, peach, and some pineapple too.

Bar Manager Ryan Henley showed reporter Michelle Oliver how to make the Bloodrita and had some for “Live In The D” host Tati Amare and guest-host Orlando Bailey to try.

Nightmare on Bagley will be open until November 5th, when it will close down shortly before reopening for the holiday season. It is located at 2545 Bagley Street in Southwest Detroit.
