Detroit singer and songwriter Apropos has been on “Live in the D” before to promote events, but he joined host Tati Amare, and guest-host Jon Jordan today to discuss his new single and EP.
The single is called “Say Yes” and Apropos says it’s about determination, love, success, and motivation with a gospel sound to it. This song with be a part of his new EP which he plans to release in a deconstructed manner, where new songs of the EP will be released in different seasons. “Say Yes” is the song he is releasing for the fall season, and in January he will release “Heartbreak” for his winter season.
“You get different seasons with different sounds,” explains Apropos. “And it brings it all together to have a very versatile sound all together.”
He has partnered with other musicians like Jake Bass and Mama Yaya to create the album.
