The holidays are in full effect, and with Christmas just a week away, you might be stressing about hosting and getting together the perfect spread for your guests. Mark Savedes, owner of Aleko’s Restaurant & Catering, has catered events for the Detroit Tigers, and Toronto Maple Leaves, so he knows a thing or two about creating the perfect spread.
Savedes stopped by “Live In The D” to share a few tips for those hosting this holiday season. He says, the key to making dinner stress free, is preparation, and the first thing hosts should do is have a plan. “Know your audience. Come up with a plan, a menu that’s going to work,” he said.
He also said dinner doesn’t have to be traditional, and you can serve something fun and easy like kabobs. He demonstrated how easy this can be.
