Kenya White and her daughters, Robin “Rosie” McKee and A’Blesyn Davis, caught Oprah’s attention with a video they created that went viral. The video showed Rosie reenacting a famous scene from “The Color Purple”. Oprah, who starred in the 1985 film and produced the 2023 film, saw the viral video and invited the family to be on the purple carpet for the premiere of “The Color Purple” remake in Los Angeles.
