The holidays are here, and what better way to celebrate than trying out a new place to meet up with friends, or enjoy a staycation. There’s a new hotel in Corktown that’s not only serving up cocktails and eats, but something that’s unique and one-of-of-kind.
“It’s the largest and only 4 season rooftop lounge in the city,” said Nyle Flynn, Executive Chef at the Godfrey Detroit Hotel. He’s talking about the I|O Rooftop Lounge, that sits 7 stories high, and gives panoramic views of Detroit’s skyline. The space also features glass retractable walls and ceiling, offering the in and outdoor experience in one place.
The bar offers craft cocktails and small bites, while the “Hamilton” restaurant on the hotel’s first floor offers a full course menu.
