She’s starred on stage on London’s West End in many roles, but the role many of us know her for is “Rebecca” the owner of “AFC Richmond” in the Apple TV+ show “Ted Lasso”. Hannah Waddingham won an Emmy for the role and now she’s showcasing her singing talent on stage in a new Christmas special titled “Hannah Waddingham: Home For Christmas”. Waddingham spoke to “Live In The D” host Tati Amare about her special and bringing cast members of the hit show back together.
“It’s an absolute whistle stop through all the different areas of my voice,” said Waddingham. “And then the different guests come in, like Leslie Odom, Jr. who brings out a little different something in me and I bring out a little different something in him.” Odom, Jr. is just one of many surprise guests who join the actress on stage.
Waddingham also went on to talk about how the show is a reflection of what she did on stage before “Ted Lasso” while at the same time bringing together the cast of “Ted Lasso” as part of the experience.
