Take a divorced couple, two kids, and the fictional owner of the Boston Celtics, put them all together, and you have the “Extended Family” -- a new show that’s making its debut on NBC.
“Live In The D” host Tati Amare, spoke with the stars of the show, Donald Faison, John Cryer, and Abigail Spencer, about what viewers can expect.
“You can expect hilarity,” said Cryer, who plays Jim on the show, and is also the show’s executive producer. He says the show’s premise is about an unusual blended family in which a woman, her new husband, and ex-husband (Jim) all live under the same roof in order to make things easier for the two children the couple shares.
“Extended Family” airs Tuesday, Jan. 2 at 8:30 p.m. on NBC.
