Hollywood stars were out in full force on the red carpet at the Golden Globes, and there were some wins and losses when it comes to the ensembles they wore.
Local 4 Style Editor Jon Jordan and AJ Williams, the Style Editor for the Michigan Chronicle, appeared on “Live In The D” to talk Golden Globes fashion. They rated red carpet looks from 1 to 10.
The conversation started with one of the looks Jon loved, which was a sparkly gold gown worn by Issa Rae. Jon gave her look a “solid 10″. AJ also handed out a rating of a 10. “She looks like a golden globe in the very best way,” AJ said.
Next up, AJ talked about one of her favorites, which was Taylor Swift’s sparkly green dress. AJ said she loved the color on Swift and that it’s not a color she’s seen many people wear. AJ gave her a rating of an 8, while Tati gave her a 9. Jon had a different opinion. He gave Swift a 5.
The group also talked about Margot Robbie’s ensemble. She lived up to the “Barbie” brand with a pink dress and boa. Tati gave her a 6, while Randy gave her a 5.
AJ was not a fan of Selena Gomez’s look, which incorporated a red gown with a crisscrossed front. AJ gave her a rating of 1 out of 10.
