Fans are hyped up for Michigan to play in the College Football Playoff National Championship game

Wolverines are matched up against the Huskies

Fans are buzzing because the Michigan Wolverines will take on the Washington Huskies in the College Football Playoff National Championship game Monday night.

“Live In The D” host Tati Amare and guest host Randy Henry talked with friends of the show about the excitement leading up to the game. Blaine Fowler from “Blaine and Lauren” on 96.3 WDVD and Aaron “Goose” Seller, the morning show host on W4 Country and co-host of the “Countdown to Kickoff” on WTKA Ann Arbor, joined the discussion.

First, Blaine and Goose made it clear that they were rooting for the Wolverines. They were both dressed in U of M gear and Goose was even sporting a hat autographed by Bo Schembechler. Goose shared that he would be watching the game from his basement that’s filled with Wolverines memorabilia. Blaine said he also plans to watch the game at home.

Next, the conversation moved to the price of tickets. Fans have to shell out some big bucks for to make their way to the College Football Playoff National Championship game in Houston. Goose explained that he was tempted to buy tickets, but said he made the “adult decision” not to buy them.

Tati asked the group if they think fans from the state of Michigan should be rooting for the Wolverines even if they aren’t typically U of M fans. Blaine said “absolutely.” He added that it’s going to be interesting because Washington will be in the Big Ten next year, and he’s all about rooting for the Big Ten.
