Plants leaving their marks on fabrics

Sustainable business uses natural products to create one-of-a-kind décor

Vibrant greens, sunshine yellows, and deep blues, its all being created by Meghan Navoy, a Metro Detroit designer who merged her love for fabric, and passion for the environment, into a unique business. She says since graduating school with a textile and marketing degree, she’s been on a mission to create beautiful fabrics using only dyes made from plants. For the past 6 years, she’s been doing just that with her business Rosemarine Textiles. Her hope with the business is to be sustainable and get this message out that, “It’s possible to do things in a way that’s earth friendly,” Navoy said.
