As the fidget temps continues, and we work to keep our bodies and skin hydrated, we can’t forget about our hair. The owner of “Studio Lush,” in Southfield, Jasmere Waller, stopped by “Live in the D,” to unlock some secrets to keeping our tresses luscious this winter. “The key word is hydration, you want to make sure every product you use in the winter is going to hydrate your hair,” Waller told host Tati Amare, and Guest Co-Host, Jon Jordan. She said there are steps to take in order to keep your hair protected, vibrant, and lush this winter.
Keeping hair hydrated
-Use a hydrating shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, and follow-up with a seal-in.
-Use a hair steamer, there are portable options you can purchase online or in stores. This gives hair a rush of moisture.
-Keep up with vitamins B, D, and E. Waller says healthy hair starts from within.
