As a local artist, writer, and inspirational singer with a style of R&B, Karla Pace has a message behind her music. She appeared on “Live in the D” to discuss her latest music with host Tati Amare.
As a lyricist, Pace says that she “tries to make sure all my music has a message in it,” so that she can pull in the audience with amazing music.
Pace says her newly released single “Arms” is a message for those who don’t have anyone to go to when going through something, whether it being heartbreak or other challenges in life. Pace also hopes the lyrics are comforting, that if you listen and know someone going through something, to send it to them and let them know that you are there for them.
Pace is set to perform at Aretha’s Jazz Café this upcoming Wednesday along with other artists.
