You might have watched him on the shows “The Hughleys” or “Living Single”, and now actor and comedian John Henton is cracking jokes with a standup comedy routine that’s coming to town.
Henton will be performing at the Punchline Comedy Lounge in Southfield on February 9th, 10th, and 11th.
The comedian shared that his standup content is usually based on observational humor like things that he sees and things he’s going through.
Ahead of his performances in Southfield, Henton talked with Live In The D host Tati Amare. He told Tati that Detroit is the “real crowd”. If you make people in Detroit laugh, then you know you’re funny, he said.
