Were the Super Bowl commercials a win?

Ads varied from comedic to heartfelt

Now that the Super Bowl is over, people aren’t just buzzing about the Kansas City Chiefs being Super Bowl champs again. They’re also talking about the hits and misses of the Super Bowl Commercials.

Comedians Mike Bonner and Melanie Hearn appeared on “Live In The D” to talk with host Tati Amare and guest host Candice Davis Price about their favorite commercials from the big game.

One commercial that grabbed a lot of attention was a Verizon ad featuring Beyoncé. It was all about whether Beyoncé could break Verizon’s 5G Network. At the end of the commercial Beyoncé revealed that she was dropping new music. “I love that commercial,” Mike said.

The Super Bowl commercials were filled with cameos from stars. Both Melanie and Candice said they liked all of the cameos.

One star-studded commercial was for Dunkin’. It featured Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Tom Brady, Jack Harlow, Fat Joe, and Jennifer Lopez. Melanie said it was her favorite commercial of the night. Melanie also liked the Popeye’s commercial that included Ken Jeong.

Meanwhile, Mike’s favorite commercial was a Silk ad. Actor Jeremy Renner was in the commercial with his daughter. “He’s showing he’s back,” Mike said.
