You may have saw some familiar Metro Detroit faces in a Super Bowl ad

One local law firm, getting message across in “big” way

The ads were, as always, a big part of the big game on Sunday night during the Super Bowl, and there was one commercial that had a couple of familiar Detroit faces in it.

The commercial opened with a choir chatting the word “no,” while members of the audience were watching in disapproval. One person then gets on the phone and says, “I’m calling Sam.” The faces and voices of Beth and Mark Bernstein then appears. We later learn the choir represents auto insurance companies, telling their clients they won’t approve their claim.

Mark Bernstein chatted about the ad on “Live in the D.”

“We hear our clients tell us all the time they get hurt. All they want to do is get treated fairly by the insurance company, and they just get the run around,” Bernstein said.

He said when his law firm gets involved, the insurance companies change their tunes, just as they did in the commercial.
