With Lenten season upon us, Terry’s Terrace is offering several options for those participating. The menu consists of mostly seafood options like salmon, crab legs, fish and chips, and a dish, Executive Chef TJ Newington describes as “a banger on the menu.”
Its a fried lobster tail, with a fried shrimp skewer, on top of a waffle. These items weren’t always on the menu at this historic restaurant that’s been around more than eight decades. “We opened in 1938. Back then it was just a shack and people would walk up to get our famous frog legs,” Newington said.
The menu has come a long way since then, and during the month of February they are having a “Lobster Lovers Fest” with offers all month.
