It’s a love story without romance

Actress talks about upcoming inspiring film

She’s made us laugh with classics like “The Wood” and “The Brothers”, and now actress Tamala Jones is back on the big screen in a new film with Hilary Swank. The actress appeared on “Live in the D” to talk about her new project “Ordinary Angels.”

“It’s a faith based movie based on a true story,” Jones said. She said its about a man who recently loss his wife to a rare liver disease, and finds out his daughter has the same illness. From there, it’s a rush to save the little girl. To make matters worse, the father struggles with paying his daughter’s medical bills, and goes into debt. After a reporter tells the story and a hair dresser, played by Hilary Swank, hears of it, she connects with the family, and tries to help them out. Jones says it was amazing working with Swank on the film. “Ordinary Angels,” is in theatres February 23.
