Hillary Swank and Tyler Perry both have new movies out this weekend. Movie reviewer Greg Russell was back on this week’s Reel Talk to discuss these new films.
“Ordinary Angels” stars Hilary Swank whose character sees a family in desperate need of help. So, she decides to do whatever she can to give them the assistance they need. “She sees this young girl in need and thinks, ‘what can I do’,” said Swank. As the story goes on, she realizes that she’s helping herself and finding her way as she help the young girl. Greg gives this movie 4 reels out of 5.
Tyler Perry also returns to the big screen with new movie “Mea Culpa” starring Kelly Rowland. The title comes from the Latin phrase “my fault”. Perry says it’s peferct for Rowland’s character who believes the bad things happening in the movie are her fault, even when they are not. Russell gave this movies a 3.5 reels out 5.
