He’s a familiar face on the Michigan music scene and has been playing local shows for years. He’s also familiar to fans who saw him place 4th on “The Voice” several years ago. Now, Laith Al-Saadi has new music out and stopped by “Live In The D” to chat about that, and what else he’s been up to.
“Right before the world shut down... I was touring around the country, and I actually was going to record an LP,” Al-Saadi said. He said this was going to be his first major project after having a #1 Blues song internationally in 2016 when he was on “The Voice”. Due to the pandemic it didn’t happen then, but he record the album himself and has now released it on his website.
You can hear a song from the album called “Like a Dead Man in the Ground” which he performed live on the show.
