Have your future told, see pups live, and enjoy ice skating, this weekend in the D

Lots to do for the entire family in and around Detroit

The weather in Detroit hasn’t been too bad this week, and the weekend looks even brighter, so if you’re looking to get out and enjoy the area, there’s plenty to keep you busy.

First up, the city of Southfield is celebrating winter with their Winter Fest. The annual event will feature ice skating, bouncers, horse drawn carriage rides, and more. The fest happens Sunday 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Southfield Sports Arena.

Next, a new exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum that’s pup-tastic. The “Paw Patrol Adventure Play” exhibit will feature all the heroic Paw Patrol pups from the hit preschool series. Through the interactive exhibit, kids and grown-ups will be able to run rescue missions and complete challenges in a fun and immersive environment. The exhibit runs now until April 28.

If you want to see Paw Patrol live. There are performances Saturday and Sunday at the Fox Theatre, in Detroit.

Lastly, in Monroe, it’s the Crystal, Psychic, and Holistic Expo. The “Rock Your World” event will feature hundreds of crystals and gems from around the world, educational lectures on nutrition, dream interpretations and more. The event happens Saturday and Sunday at the First Merchant Bank Expo Center in Monroe.
