In order to access the Marrow restaurant, you’ll need to enter through an area where it all started says Executive Chef and Partner Sarah Welch.
“The Butcher shop opened first than the restaurant soon after,” she said.
Talk about fresh meat, Welch said having a butcher shop attached to their restaurant has its benefits. It’s important to her and her partner in the business, Ping Ho, to provide diners with the freshest meats and produce. That’s why they personally visit the farms they purchase products from to ensure the best farming practices.
Their passion to provide a great dining experience has not gone unnoticed. They have received several nominations for a James Beard award, which recognizes the “Who’s, who” of the restaurant industry in the U.S.. Welch has also competed on the national TV show “Top Chef.”
