International Women’s Day is right around the corner and you can catch an event happening to celebrate the day.
Local private Chef, food entrepreneur, and the woman putting on the event, Lauren Gillon, appeared on “Live in The D” to talk about the event.
Gillon’s inspiration behind the event comes from her love for hosting, and her own business called Home Girl Kitchen. She thought combining the two would be a great way to get together with her girlfriends and gather businesses together. So, she decided to host the gathering on International Women’s Day.
This event is for all women and will include a wide variety of vendors, a women DJ, and professional headshots for those that attend.
