Despite the recent cold temps, this is the first weekend of spring, and the events happening in Metro Detroit will have you thinking of warmer days.
First up it’s the Pool and Spa Show. Make your backyard and oasis and a vacation without leaving your home. The show will feature products on display like, patios, brick paving, water features, pools, hot tubs, and more. The show is happening Friday-Sunday at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.
Easter is just around the corner, and bunny events are underway. Blakes Farms will host the Easter Egg-stravaganza. The event in Armada will feature train rides through the orchards, craft activities, face painting, and admission to funland. This happens on Saturday 9a-3p, 17985 Armada Center Rd., Armada . On Friday, the Blakes Almont location will host a similar event that features crafts, a petting area, and more. The event runs 9a-2p, 5600 Van Dyke Rd., Almont.
Now hopping over to Wyandotte, for their annual Bunny Hop. The event that benefits local small businesses encourages visitors to purchase a $15 card that will enable them to search for Easter Eggs filled with downtown dollars. Those dollars can be used at businesses in the Downtown area. Guests to select businesses will also enjoy sweet treats while visiting. The event happens Saturday 12-3 in Downtown Wyandotte.
