Local favorite bars will compete head to head in a bar brawl hosted by Wright & Company. To talk about the brawl is Roxanne Phillips, assistant general manager of Wright & Company, Luka Backus with Bad Luck Bar, and Emma Randal with Time Will Tell.
Behind this bracket style tournament, the inspiration comes from the growth of Detroit hospitality. Phillips says “I just wanted to showcase just the talent behind all of our concepts, so doing a bar competition felt like the best way, the funnest way to go about doing that.”
While the first round of the brawl is over, Randal took the win on the bracket. For the next rounds, you can expect a more difficult and challenging round two and what Phillips says, an “absolutely bonkers” round three.
On April 1st, 8th, and 15th, you can catch the continuation of the first round and expect cocktail samples while then casting a vote.
