Located in Rochester Hills, this Metro Detroit spot serves up Korean corn dogs on their menu. Jun Lee, owner of Honey Wings, appeared on “Live in The D” to talk about his restaurant.
The inspiration behind Honey Wings comes from how Lee wanted to bring Korean inspired food, with a twist of American, to the Michigan area. He said, “I feel like these were some amazing foods that customers would like, and Michigan people haven’t really got access to Korean corn dogs yet.”
The Korean corn dogs on their menu have a wide variety of flavors from Fruity Pebbles to Hot Cheetos. The Monster Dog is with squared potatoes on the outside, sauce drizzled on top and is described as, “a lot bigger with a lot of taste.”
Along with Korean hot dogs, they also have loaded chicken with fries and toppings. You can also get fries without the chicken loaded with toppings.
