Turn it up for this award winning singer-songwriter

Charlotte Cardin has won multiple Juno awards

A singer-songwriter from Montreal is making her name known in the world of pop.

At 29 years old, Charlotte Cardin is already a multi-Juno Award winning music artist. Her album titled 99 Nights won Album of the Year and Pop Album of the Year at the 2024 Juno Awards.

99 Nights is basically the time period over which the album was written. It really takes me back to one summer in my life,” explained Cardin. “I felt like I was at a crossroads in a lot of different parts of my life, and I wrote this album with my friends over the course of one summer in between touring,” she added.

99 Nights includes the song “Confetti”, which has more than 35 million streams on Spotify. The song also became Cardin’s first to hit the U.S. Billboard charts.

“Jim Carrey” is another song on Cardin’s latest album. The lyrics include: “Jim Carrey, will you marry me? Call me when you get this.” Apparently, the famous actor got the message because Cardin said that Carrey actually called her the day the song was released.
