You can enjoy a week long celebration of deals on meals, where you can get 2-for-1 deals or enjoy great pre-fixed menus. It’s happening in Wyandotte and the event kicks off with a special event tomorrow night. Troy Magier and Mike Szalai from The Iron Gate in Wyandotte appeared on “Live In The D” to talk about the event.
At The Iron Gate, you can taste many dishes from a southern fried chicken sandwich with truffle parm fries, to bang bang shrimp. You can also experience a variety of house made cocktails.
For he restaurant deal, you can experience a $65 per person pre-fixed menu, which includes an appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert at The Iron Gate. Other restaurants in Wyandotte will be participating in these good deals like Whiskey’s on the Water, where they will be doing a $55 two person menu, including an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert.
The kick off event, Taste In The Town, is, “A bunch of restaurants partnered with a bunch of our retail partners in downtown Wyandotte, and we’re putting on one item per each retail partner and then they’re featuring a restaurant,” Magier says.
