Lots to see during the NFL Draft excitement

Don’t miss out on these fun things to do in Detroit this weekend!

The NFL Draft is just one day away, and you want to make sure you are not missing out on any of the excitement. From food to events to shopping, Jennyfer Crawford-Williams appeared on “Live in The D” to talk all about it.

While the draft is a celebration, she is working with the Downtown Detroit Partnership to curate and have all of the parks activated. “So there’s big screen TVs, there’s cornhole at Beacon Park, and there’s food trucks. So, a lot of action happening everywhere,” she said.

Some food trucks you can expect are Big Bo’s Grill, Original Seafood truck, and some vegan options. Over the course of the three days, there will be more than 80 food trucks.

At All Things Marketplace, they carry all things sports apparel, some local brands that have Lions inspired merchandise, and even limited edition NFL Draft t-shirts.

Right outside of All Things Marketplace, you can catch the Corktown block party. “There’s going to be shopping, a lot of merch, and there will be a variety of food and popcorn and DJs,” she said. The block party will be all three days of the draft.
