Check out these new experiences in Detroit during the NFL Draft

Bedrock’s Decked Out Detroit is offering a variety of programming

Detroit has rolled out the welcome mat for visitors and sports fans during the NFL Draft, and there’s a variety of new experiences you can check out from food to shopping and entertainment.

Remix Detroit is a new activation that is an interactive music lab. “People can actually create their own beats there, said Dustin Stolzman, the director of experience with Bedrock. “This month we’re actually featuring the sounds of Motown,” he added. Remix Detroit is located on Woodward Ave.

Another new addition on Woodward Ave. is Next Level by RollerCade. The first floor is a game space with different arcade games and concessions. The second story offers roller skating.

When you head downtown for the NFL Draft, you also might be able to score some deals while shopping. Various retailers are offering different promotions and some have exclusive merchandise. You can also stop by popup shops like Born In Detroit, which will be open through the end of April on Woodward Ave. Another option is visiting the NFL Shop, located at 1001 Woodward Avenue.

When you work up an appetite, one of the spots you can walk over to is Recess, which is a pop-up food hall on W. Fort Street. It will feature four different restaurants throughout the weekend, along with a 40-foot bar.
