How does roller-skating overlooking Woodward Avenue sound? How about games like air hockey and vintage pinball? If this all sounds like fun, then you have to check out Next Level by RollerCade. This space recently opened on the corner of Woodward and State street in Downtown Detroit has two levels of fun for the entire family.
On the first level there’s a full arcade with card operated games, and on the second level there’s a spacious roller skating rink. The owner of Next Level by RollerCade, Kyle Black, said this space is for everyone. “This is designed for everybody, mainly families. We wanted to keep that family aspect in mind, something for all ages, people from Detroit, people visiting Detroit,” he said.
The space opened during the NFL Draft in Detroit, but will remain open at least throughout the summer.
