Sneaker culture is coming to life at the Stock X pop-up shop during the NFL Draft in Detroit.
Stock X is a global marketplace headquartered in Detroit that connects online buyers and sellers who are looking to buy and seller everything from street wear to sneakers and electronics, explained the Greg Schwartz, the president of Stock X.
“When a buyer and seller connect, the seller sends an item to us. We verify the item, it goes through our verification process, and we ship it off to the buyer,” Schwartz said. “The entire model is based on stock market principles, so there’s trust, transparency, and pricing based on supply and demand, which powers the entire experience.”
Although Stock X is typically an online marketplace, the company is offering a chance for an up close and personal experience during NFL Draft weekend in Detroit. Stock X will be showcasing some of the items from the marketplace at a pop-up shop at 1528 Woodward Avenue. They company will also be giving away prizes throughout NFL Draft weekend.
