Detroit is a certified hot spot for small businesses, and entrepreneurs, fueled by innovative minds and sheer Detroit grit. One of those businesses is GLAM Body Scrubs and the owner Tiffany Nicole Cartwright stopped by “Live in the D” to talk about her products.
“My daughter was born with eczema, and I was a new mom determined not to use anything harsh on her skin,” Cartwright said.
She said this forced her in the kitchen to come up with ingredients that would not be harmful to the skin. From that GLAM Body Scrub was created. She describes the product as handmade with love.
The business is 1 of 4 finalist for Hatch Detroit, a competition that awards a Detroit small business with $100,000.
