This Sunday is Cinco de Mayo, and celebrations are taking place all over Metro Detroit including in Ferndale where Mexican restaurant Mezcal will be in the center of it all.
Known for serving up authentic Mexican cuisine, Mezcal is planning to show off those dishes this weekend at a big community event. On Saturday, and Sunday, 9 mile will close between Woodward and Bermuda to make space for food trucks, a kids area, musical acts and more.
Mezcal will also serve up their Mexican dishes that Co-Owner Sandra Haro said has a bit of a twist. “We switch up our dishes, and don’t always stick with the same thing, and our dishes are authentic, with a twist,” she said.
