For decades Detroit’s Mosaic Youth Theater has entertained the community with originals shows and performances. Once again, they are hitting the stage to share a brand new show titled “Yellow Brick Ballads”. Members of the theater group appeared on “Live In The D” to share a song from the show and share what people can expect if they attend.
“It’s an original concert that really interrogates the question how do dreams, our own or others’, propel us forward or hold us back,” said DeLashea Strawder, the Executive and Artistic Director of Mosaic Youth Theater. “It also looks at themes from ‘The Wiz’, and the young artists just kind of took it and ran with it and created this new show.”

“Yellow Brick Ballads” will be performed at The Detroit Film Theater located inside The Detroit Institute of Arts on May 11, 12, 18 and 19. Tickets are available online.
