Whether it’s waiting on hold over the phone or waiting in line at the grocery store, you might feel like you spend a lot of time waiting around. So, what’s worth the wait to you?
“Live In The D” put friends of the show to the test to find out what’s worth the wait to them. The conversation included “Live In The D” host Tati Amare and Local 4 Style Editor Jon Jordan, along with comedian Mike Bonner and author and motivational speaker Mimi Brown.
First, the group was asked whether waiting in an online queue for concert tickets is worth the wait. Tati, Mike, and Mimi all agreed it was worth the wait. Jon said it depends on the performer.
Next, the group talked about whether it’s worth it to wait for a flight that’s been delayed. Mike said it depends on if it’s a trip for pleasure or work. Tati said it’s worth the wait because you’ve already spent the money.
When it comes to waiting for a table at a restaurant, Mike said it’s worth the wait. But Mimi said she would rather be strategic and go at another time.
The conversation also covered standing in line for products, like Black Friday shopping. Tati, Jon, Mike, and Mimi all agreed that it’s not worth the wait.
