A big way to improve your garden

Ornamental gardening meets wild animals

It’s May and the spring green outside is something that everyone loves to see. Have you ever thought about bringing that green feeling indoors? Jefferey Jucewicz of Jeffrey Floral Architecture stopped by “Live in the D” with some of his life-sized animal topiaries and suggestions to green-up your home. For those that don’t know, a topiary is an ornamental form of gardening. The specific topiaries that Jucewicz brought to “Live in the D” were stacked with a multitude of different materials.

“These are sculptures, they are topiaries, but it’s definitely a piece of art that you’re buying,” said Jecewicz.

Aside from the big green animals, Jeffrey Floral Architecture offers a class called “The Great Flower Soirée”. In the class you’re given a cylinder of flowers and an inspiration picture where you build your own center piece.
