He’s worked with artists like The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, and John Mayer, and now musician, producer, and composer Don Was is heading out on tour with his band.
Don Was and the Pan-Detroit Ensemble includes a variety of musicians who are from Detroit, including Don Was who is a 6-time Grammy winner. “We’re going to be ambassadors of Detroit music,” Don Was said while talking about the band’s lineup of stops on their upcoming tour.
Don Was and the Pan-Detroit Ensemble will be taking the stage at Orchestra Hall on Friday, May 24th. Don Was said you can feel the history at Orchestra Hall. He called it a “beautiful place” and said that “it sounds incredible.” He compared it to playing at Carnegie Hall.
