Resin Art uses chemicals to create all types of creative designs. However, the catch is you only have 40 minutes to an hour to work with the chemicals until they’re set in. Leah Barkoff owner of Bark Art Creations stopped by “Live in the D” to talk about her resin art and Bark Art Creations.
Barkoff started her business by gifting her dad with an art piece of Michigan. Her father got his friends to buy some of the pieces and from there a business was born. Barkoff sells those Michigan pieces along with geode pieces, coasters, wall art, and so much more at Bark Art Creations.
Bark Art Creations is a boutique in Pinckney that Barkoff owns. She’s brought in local artists and vendors to sell jewelry, candles, clothing, and so much more. At Bark Art Creations they run classes that teach people how to make soaps, candles, jewelry, resin art, with even more classes on the way.
