Imagine what it would be like to drive along Jefferson Avenue in Detroit on the racetrack for the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear. It’s something “Live In The D” host Tati Amare has wanted to do for years. She has talked about it on the show several times, and this week she finally got a chance to have the experience.
She road with a professional driver in a souped-up Chevy Camaro on a hot lap around the track, which means at racing speeds.
Tati had to sign a waiver, and get fitted with a helmet and body gear for her protection before jumping in the passenger seat.
