Detroit hot sauce company is on fire

This Detroit hot sauce company has been featured on ‘Hot Ones’

Looking for some spice in your life? Hell Fire Detroit has got you covered. Don Button owner of Hell Fire Detroit stopped by “Live in the D” to talk about his Detroit hot sauce company.

Back during Christmas in 2014 Button made hot sauce as Christmas gifts. He then had a dream about owning his own hot sauce company called Hell Fire Detroit and he immediately sprang into action to make it happen. It wasn’t too long till people began to go crazy over the sauces.

After a few years of selling locally, the hit show “Hot Ones” invited Button to have his hot sauce on the show. The national attention the show brought him only helped Hell Fire Detroit grow. Tati and Candice tried the flavor Mango Habanero, the same flavor used on season nine of “Hot Ones”.

However, the process that Hell Fire Detroit goes through to make these hot sauces isn’t so easy.

“We take fresh fire roasted chilis, we hand stem each pepper, wash them, coat them in olive oil, and fire roast them outdoors in a chili roaster. It’s tons of labor,” said Button.

Hell Fire Detroit sells their hot sauces individually and in boxes.
